Mr. Mitchell: (Looking at the other secretary) Sherry, could you take all the phone calls while Amanda finishes that brief?

Sherry: OK, Mr. Mitchell.  But I've got letters to type for Mr. Stone.  They're urgent, too.

Mr. Mitchell: (sigh) Well, work it out between the two of you, then.

Amanda: We've been doing that for two months now, Mr. Mitchell. Not having a receptionist makes our jobs a lot harder.  We're working a lot of overtime.

Mr. Mitchell: I know, and I really appreciate it.  Guess I'd better try to find a new receptionist soon.

Sherry: The sooner the better.

米契爾先生：（看著另外一位祕書）雪莉，雅曼達在做這份案情摘要的時候，妳可不可以接所有的電話？

雪            莉：好的，米契爾先生。但我要替史東先生打一些信，也很緊急。

米契爾先生：（嘆氣）那麼，妳們兩個協調一下，自己解決吧!

雅曼達：我們已經這麼做兩個月了，米契爾先生。少一位接待員，我們的工作變得更困難。我們已經加班很久了。

米契爾先生：我知道，我很感激妳們這樣做。我想我最好趕快雇一個接待員來。

雪            莉：愈快愈好。
