|   Part 2 【Word Bank】     urgent (adj) 緊急的     work something out (v phr) 解決 (某事)   Mr. Mitchell: (Looking at the other secretary) Sherry, could you take all the phone calls while Amanda finishes that brief? Sherry: OK, Mr. Mitchell.  But I've got letters to type for Mr. Stone.  They're urgent, too. Mr. Mitchell: (sigh) Well, work it out between the two of you, then. Amanda: We've been doing that for two months now, Mr. Mitchell. Not having a receptionist makes our jobs a lot harder.  We're working a lot of overtime. Mr. Mitchell: I know, and I really appreciate it.  Guess I'd better try to find a new receptionist soon. Sherry: The sooner the better. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 【The Day's Phrase】 Sylvester had already tipped his hand. So when he made the final announcement, it was not much of a surprise. |
